With St. Patrick’s Day upon us here is a quick and easy way to make a cheap but cute Banner for the holiday.
First you will need a few supplies
1) 3 sheets white paper
2) 3sheets green paper
3) a light and dark green crayons or colored pencils
4) 2 yards of thin green ribbon
5) a set of Alphabet stencils
6) glue, scissors, and a hole punch
First you need to take the green paper and cut from each sheet 4- 4in x5in rectangles.
From the white paper you will need to cut 12 – 3.5in x 4.5in rectangles.
Measure and mark one in from the bottom in the center of each rectangle with a dot, then cut from the corner to the dot on both sides to make this shape.
Glue the white sheets onto the green ones.
Using the 2 crayons or colored pencils lay the stencil in the center of the paper and color it in.
Last but not least you will need to punch four holes in the top of each paper and thread the ribbon thru.
I hope you have fun with this little project.
