How To Make A Paper Bag Leprechaun Puppet

Looking For A Last Minute St. Patrick’s Day Craft

This is a fun little paper puppet to make as a St. Patrick’s Day craft.

Supplies

  1. paper bag (duh)
  2. green and black paper
  3. red felt
  4. glue stick
  5. googly eyes
  6. crayons or markers to color the face.

First You need to glue down the eyes and draw a face on your paper sack. make sure you draw the face on the side with the flap.

Next you will need to cut 1 in pieces for for the side burns, the top , and the mustache.

Next you will need to cut a 1 in strip of the bottom of the bag , and cut out the other parts you need. Cut your green paper in half to cover the body of the bag, cut out 2- 1.5 x 3 in pieces for the arms and 2- 2 in x 4 in pieces for the legs and a skinny strip for a hat band. Out of the black you will need to cut to shoes and a strip to go across his body for a belt and a hat.

this is also a good time to cut out the beard.

You will need to glue the arms to the bag, the the green on the body and the belt on that. After you have created the body glue on the lags and the beard.

Last but not least glue on the hat and the hat band and you are done.

Have fun
